The full-spectrum morning sunlight hits the retinas in my eyes and this energy gets converted - through the photo-electric effect - into DC electric current in the mitochondria in my brain. Abundant DHA in the diet is a critical component for this process to occur.
While sitting in my room, I take off my clothes and allow as much of my skin to be exposed to the full spectrum morning sunlight as possible. The morning sun's UVB rays hit my skin and my body uses the cholesterol in my bloodstream to manufacture vitamin D.

Human beings are mammals and are meant to be cold adapted. Human beings have been genetically programmed through hundreds of millions of years of evolution, to be exposed to full spectrum sunlight on a daily basis and to be exposed to cold temperatures in the winter.
We are not meant to avoid exposure to cold temperatures in the winter, through the use of modern inventions. We are meant to experience the cold like other mammals. We are also not meant to eat bananas in the winter when the temperature outside is 0°F. When the temperature outside is 0°F and you eat a sweet tropical fruit - because a delivery truck was able to haul the fruit over thousands of miles all the way from Southern California - you are confusing your DNA, and you pay a price through an adverse effect on your telomeres.
Human beings are not meant to be staring at iPads and computers at 11 o'clock at night before sleep. The bluelight emitted by these devices disrupts melatonin production in the brain and disrupts circadian cycles. If you cannot have good sleep, you cannot have good health.
This means that after sunset, at night time, we are meant to meditate and pray. After sunset, we are not meant to spend the evening flooding our eyeballs with blue light, staring at iPads, computers, smart phones, violent videogames, all evening long until we go to sleep.
You destroy sleep, you destroy health. Death comes after 4 days without water, death comes after 4 days without sleep.
