| My 14-year-old son and I just returned from a wonderful Transcendental Meditation Weekend Residence Course. The instructors were terrific, the food was delicious, the company was great and the entire weekend was just a joy. My son says he wants to go again in the future. |

Update on my "Going mobile, living with only the basics" experiment. Last
week I purchased a used Diesel Sprinter van. I plan to soon be living
in this The interior of my van is currently a work in progress. I am in the process of setting up a 400-Watt modified sine power inverter, a 1000-Watt pure sine power inverter, 2 deep cycle batteries, an electric cooler, and shelves on each side of the van. The solar panels on the roof of my van will come later.

| The power inverters and the deep cycle batteries will be used to power all of the appliances I depend on, such as an iPhone and iPod Touch, a netbook, a Verizon MIFI, my Vitamix blender, Little Dipper crockpot for rolled oats and soups (only 35 watts - my solar panels can handle that!), tea kettle, etc. Here is a video I sent to my son to show him the current state of the interior of my van.

As usual, I did not type a single word you are reading on this page. I dictated every word you are reading into my iPhone, using the free "Dragon Dictation" iPhone app, while rebounding on my mini-trampoline. It's a much more FUN way to work!
