Somebody
ought to take a little child to the U.S. Congress building, let
the child play there, for all 500 members of Congress to watch,
and then say "You see? THIS IS HOW YOU LIVE LIFE! HAVE
YOU FORGOTTEN?"
When
I'm at the airport, and I see TSA agents groping American travelers,
I think to myself: "Each and everyone of those people used
to be a happy, blissful, innocent child running around in a playground.
What happened to them?"

UPDATE JANUARY 1, 2012 - 1AM
Sad day for America's children and the U.S. constitution:
Today, Saturday December 31, 2011, President Obama signed the NDAA into law.
While everyone was cheerfully preparing for the new year's eve celebrations, Obama signed S.1867 NDAA into law. Quietly. Probably very few people noticed.
This is what the ACLU wrote on their website:
"The ACLU believes that any military detention of American citizens or others within the United States is unconstitutional and illegal, including under the NDAA. In addition, the breadth of the NDAA's detention authority violates international law because it is not limited to people captured in the context of an actual armed conflict as required by the laws of war."

Note:
because Enya's song "Wild Child" is playing in the
background of this video, the corporation which owns the rights
to Enya's music, WMG, will not allow this video to play on
a MOBILE DEVICE. The video plays fine on a COMPUTER, but not
on a MOBILE DEVICE.
Note #2: Sometime
in 2012, U.S. Congress - a group of men and women who generally
wouldn't know a computer if it hit them in the head - will
vote on a law called SOPA. SOPA is Hollywood's BIG MONEY
putting pressure on all of us. Google "SOPA" to
learn what is at stake.
|
Maybe
SOPA will provide jobs for lawyers, but it won't be good for
the world.
Ironically,
I read that if SOPA passes, it could bring down some Congress people's
websites. Why? ANY bit of copyrighted material, any video, any video
with a copyrighted song playing in the background, will enable the
powers-that-be to take down an entire website.
Did
you post a video while the television was playing your favorite
TV show in the background? BOOM! Website removed. Is this the SOPA
world you want to live in?
As
I look around me, it is quite clear to me that little children
have a much better time of living than we adults do.
So
in 2012, why don't we take a step back, and let our children
teach us HOW TO LIVE? THE
ART OF LIVING LIFE? |
